Michael K. Hickey

Michael K. Hickey is Regional Director of Glenmede’s Washington, DC office, which he has led since its establishment in 2014. In this role, he is responsible for managing client satisfaction and the growth and operations of the office and region. Mr. Hickey also serves as a Business Development Officer and is a member of the Private Wealth Operating Committee.

Mr. Hickey brings two decades of financial services experience to this position. Prior to joining Glenmede, he was a Financial Advisor for Bernstein Global Wealth Management. Previously, he was a Corporate Bond Trader with Credit Suisse, having begun his career on the U.S. investment grade syndicate desk at Salomon Smith Barney.

Mr. Hickey received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Williams College and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Mr. Hickey is an active member of the Washington community, serving on the Boards of the George Washington University Museum, Potomac Community Resources, the Franciscan Monastery, and the Fathers of Daughters Club. He serves on the Finance Committee of the Washington School for Girls and Investment Committee of the Archdiocese of Washington. Mr. Hickey previously served as a board member of the CFA Society, the World Affairs Council, the Association of Corporate Growth, and the Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese (where he served as Board Chair). He is a member of the Economic Club of Washington, D.C.
