Michael K. Hickey is Regional Director of Glenmede’s Washington, DC office, which he has led since its establishment in 2014. In this role, he is responsible for managing client satisfaction and the growth and operations of the office and region. Mr. Hickey is also a member of Glenmede’s Private Wealth Operating Committee.

Mr. Hickey brings over two decades of financial services experience to his position. Prior to joining Glenmede, he was a Financial Advisor for Bernstein Global Wealth Management. Previously, he was a Corporate Bond Trader with Credit Suisse First Boston, having begun his career on the U.S. investment grade syndicate desk at Salomon Smith Barney.

Mr. Hickey is an active member of the Washington community, serving as a Board member for the Washington School for Girls, George Washington University Museum, Potomac Community Resources, and Franciscan Monastery. He is on the Investment Committee of the Archdiocese of Washington. He previously served as a board member for the CFA Society, World Affairs Council, and Association of Corporate Growth. He is a member of the Economic Club of Washington, D.C., and the Fathers of Daughters Club.

Mr. Hickey received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Williams College and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
