Leigh Carter is a Wealth Advisor in Glenmede’s Ohio office. In this role, he is responsible for providing thoughtful wealth management advice, solutions for fiduciary, charitable, financial, and wealth transfer planning, and trust and account administration. Mr. Carter partners with investment, tax and wealth planning colleagues to understand client goals, provide tailored guidance and ensure clients’ wealth management objectives are fulfilled.

Prior to joining Glenmede, Mr. Carter was a Senior Vice President and Relationship Strategist at Hawthorn in Cleveland. In this role, he partnered closely with senior investment professionals and other internal specialists to deliver comprehensive wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals and families. He joined Hawthorn during the acquisition of Sterling, and co-led the integration of fiduciary and relationship management roles during this time.

Mr. Carter received his Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Boston University. 

Mr. Carter is active in Cleveland’s charitable community, and serves as a Trustee and Investment and Development Committee member for the Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Board of Trustees of the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes. He also serves on the Distribution Committee for the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation.
