Lawrence Hatch is Regional Director of Glenmede’s Ohio office. Mr. Hatch oversees wealth advisory services for high net worth individuals and manages the day-to-day operations of the Ohio office.

Prior to joining Glenmede, Mr. Hatch worked at The Private Trust Company, where he was President, Secretary and Chief Fiduciary Officer. His responsibilities encompassed numerous areas, including oversight of all trust company operations, client service administration, investments, and trust and tax accounting. Mr. Hatch also served as In-house Legal Counsel. Before that, Mr. Hatch was an attorney with Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, where he specialized in sophisticated business, estate and tax planning for families and closely-held companies. He has exceptional experience with trust planning and administration, and also has a deep understanding of income tax and business succession issues.

Mr. Hatch earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history at Yale University and his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Virginia School of Law.

Mr. Hatch is a trustee and member of the executive committee at Playhouse Square, the second largest performing arts center in the country. He is a trustee of Lakeview Cemetery Association and was a trustee of Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland, where he was a previous Board President. He is also affiliated with The Ohio State Bar Association, The Cleveland Bar Association (where he is a trustee), The Cleveland Estate Planning Institute and The Cleveland Estate Planning Council.
