Jonathan R. Lavy, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager for Endowments & Foundations in Glenmede’s Philadelphia office. Along with other members of the team, he provides investment advice and portfolio management for endowments, foundations and other not-for-profit organizations.

Prior to joining Glenmede, Mr. Lavy was Director of Investments for the American Red Cross, where he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, recommending and monitoring traditional and alternative public market investments for the Endowment and defined benefit plan, collectively worth $3 billion.

Previously, he worked at General Motors Asset Management for over a decade as a Portfolio Manager in both the Absolute Return Strategies and Investment Strategy and Asset Allocation groups.

Mr. Lavy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in economics and a Certificate in Latin American Studies from Harvard College. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
