Jeffrey Semmer, CPA, is the Director of Strategic Initiatives in Glenmede’s Philadelphia office. Mr. Semmer leads the Platform Solutions group and is responsible for technology application development, operational support and project management. He provides oversight, advice and execution of the firm’s most critical initiatives, and is central in helping to shape the organization’s strategic priorities in collaboration with the firm’s senior leadership.

Mr. Semmer is a member of Glenmede’s Technology and Operations Management Committee, where he provides oversight and management of key technology systems and operational functions.

Prior to Mr. Semmer’s current position, he was a Consultant with Glenmede focused on improving the client experience, specifically onboarding and the firm’s digital capabilities.

Prior to joining Glenmede, Mr. Semmer was Managing Director and Global Head of Client Service for the wealth management division at J.P. Morgan Chase. In this role, his teams provided a highly personalized level of client service including client inquiry management, control oversight, transaction execution and account opening supporting clients with assets of $2.3 trillion at J.P. Morgan.

Mr. Semmer received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University.
