Glenmede Appoints Bethany Bryant as Cleveland Regional Director

Brings Decades of Executive Leadership, Strategic Growth and Operational Excellence to the Firm

Cleveland, OH – January 9, 2024 – Glenmede, a privately held and independently owned wealth and investment management firm, today announced the appointment of Bethany Bryant as Regional Director of the Cleveland, Ohio office, reporting to Adam Douberly, Director of Regional Markets.

In her role, Ms. Bryant is responsible for leading a team of planning, fiduciary and investment professionals who deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions to individuals, families and institutions across the region. Larry Hatch, who led the Cleveland market for 11 years, will continue to serve in an integral role for Glenmede’s clients and the firm. “It’s been an honor to lead the Cleveland team for over a decade, and I cannot think of a more experienced and client-focused leader than Bethany to take our region to the next level and beyond,” said Hatch.

Ms. Bryant brings extensive experience to her new role at Glenmede, with over 30 years in the wealth management industry leading growth on the operational, product and client experience sides of the business. Ms. Bryant joins Glenmede from The Private Trust Company, N.A., an affiliate of LPL Financial, where she most recently served as President after co-founding the company. In her role as President, she set strategic direction, with a focus on client satisfaction, operational excellence, growth and profitability. In addition to her role at The Private Trust Company, Ms. Bryant held other roles in planning, insurance and retirement at LPL Financial, and was previously employed at Ernst & Young.

Ms. Bryant received her MBA from Cleveland State University and her Bachelor of Science from Bowling Green State University. She holds her CPA license and is actively involved in the nonprofit community, serving in various leadership roles at several organizations including Treasurer on the Board of Trustees at the Laurel School for Girls, the Leadership Advisory Board at the Honors College of Bowling Green State University and President of Rejoice Lutheran Church.
