Glenmede Private Wealth Leadership Appointment
Kenneth E. Spruill, Jr., Joins Company’s Center for Family Philanthropy and Wealth Education
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – April 18, 2022 – Glenmede, a privately held and independently owned investment and wealth management firm, today announced the appointment of Kenneth Spruill as Managing Director and Team Leader of the Center for Family Philanthropy and Wealth Education. He will report to Nina Cohen, who is the Director of the Center and has led Glenmede’s Philanthropic Advisory business for more than a decade.
The mission of Glenmede’s Center for Family Philanthropy and Wealth Education is to guide families of significant wealth on their journey to purpose and impact and to prepare new generations to steward that wealth. Mr. Spruill will partner closely with internal and external specialists to ensure the seamless delivery of fully integrated advice and administration of philanthropic strategies.

Mr. Spruill most recently served as Senior Philanthropy Advisor of Private Foundation Solutions for PNC Private Bank Hawthorn. He previously served as a Senior Talent Consultant and Manager of Diversity Strategies for PNC, and as the Workforce Diversity Officer and Relationship Manager for Wachovia Corporation.
Mr. Spruill earned his Bachelor of Arts in business management from North Carolina State University, where he was a John Tyler Caldwell Memorial Scholar. He is President of the Board of Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania and is a Board Member of the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh and Silver Eye Center for Photography.
