Glenmede’s commitment to our clients informs our every decision. No decision is more critical than the investment we make in recruiting and maintaining highly skilled professionals at all levels of our organization. As we look to the future, it is especially important that our unique culture of creative, reliable stewardship continues to be reflected in all spheres of our company and management.
We are fortunate to have two such leaders in Rhonda R. Cohen, newly elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Glenmede Trust Company N.A.—the first woman to hold this position—and Jordon B. Savitch, who recently joined Glenmede as General Counsel and Director of Business Assurance, and a Member of the Company’s Management Committee. Both bring a legacy of strong, principled leadership to our organization, as well as deep personal commitments to innovation, community and philanthropy—the same values that inform our work with the individuals, families, endowments, foundations, institutional investors and consultants that are Glenmede’s clients.
About Rhonda R. Cohen
Ms. Cohen has been a member of Glenmede’s Board of Directors since 2008. Her appointment continues Glenmede’s history of encouraging female leaders, which began with the two women who were among the firm’s founders. Today, women comprise more than half of Glenmede’s Management Committee, while half of our workforce is female.
Ms. Cohen practiced law for 20 years and was a former partner in Ballard Spahr LLP, one of the largest law firms in Philadelphia. She holds board positions with several organizations, including Delaware Valley Friends School, The Christopher Ludwick Foundation, Visit Philadelphia, ESF Dream Camp Foundation and Swarthmore College. In addition, she currently serves as campaign co-chair for the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. Ms. Cohen holds a B.A. from Swarthmore College, and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
