Ruohao Chen is a Quantitative Research Analyst in Glenmede Investment Management LP (GIM), an affiliate of The Glenmede Trust Company, N.A. In this role, he is responsible for developing and optimizing stock selection models, quantitative analysis, and creating tools for analysts and portfolio managers.
Mr. Chen began his Glenmede career as a Drexel co-op working on the Quantitative Research team. He optimized a global stock selection model and a fundamental risk model to compare industry standard vendor models, and conducted leading economic indicator analyses. Prior to his return to Glenmede, Mr. Chen was a Catastrophe Modeling Co-op at Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC, where he utilized risk modeling tools to analyze portfolio losses and optimized data reporting.
Mr. Chen received a Master’s degree in operations research from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in finance with a minor in mathematics from Drexel University, where he earned the University’s Dean’s Scholarship and received the Phi Theta Kappa National Award.
