With this, we are pleased to introduce colleagues who have more recently joined our team:
Thomas P. Melcher, Private Wealth Portfolio Management
Thom joins as Associate Director of Investment Management and a member of our Private Wealth leadership team. With extensive experience navigating the demand for cutting-edge strategies and personalized service, Thom will focus on the integration of investment process and client services in order to continue delivering consistent outcomes for our clients. He is a voting member of the Investment Policy Committee and a member of the Private Wealth Operating Committee.
He joins Glenmede following twenty-six years at PNC, where he most recently served as EVP and Chief Investment Officer for the PNC Asset Management. Prior to his appointment as CIO, he was the managing executive for Hawthorn, PNC Family Wealth and had previously held the CIO role for PNC Wealth Management in Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
Jennifer Wong, CFA, Impact Research Analyst, Private Investments
Jennifer joined Glenmede in 2017 as a research analyst in the private investments team specializing in impact-related investments. She is responsible for evaluating and providing analysis on investment opportunities in global private markets for Glenmede clients. Previously she worked for the Clinton Health Access Initiative in Malawi and Liberia, where she advised the Ministries of Health on health financing issues. Before then, she worked in the investment banking division at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, focusing on structuring debt issuances for public power and utility companies.
Jennifer holds an MBA in multinational management from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley. She received the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 2017.
Julia Enyart, Impact Research Analyst, Public Investments
Julia joins Glenmede’s impact investing team as a research analyst focusing on opportunities in global public markets. Previously Julia was an investment associate with Palladium Group, where she performed due diligence analysis on African agriculture and energy investments, and advised a major development finance institution on innovative financing tools. Before then, she was responsible for business development at Chemonics International, a development consulting firm, and spent two years as a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton.
She holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a master’s degree in international studies with a focus on Africa regional studies from the Lauder Institute.
