OCIO

Due Diligence Center

Due diligence helps board members and trustees remain prudent in meeting their fiduciary responsibilities. It can expose potential organizational and budget risks as well as highlight areas of improvement. A key component of this process is the evaluation of your current investment management provider through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.  This can be a daunting process for many organizations and investment committees due to the wide range of providers and investment platform models.

We are frequently asked to provide guidance on this topic given our wide range of institutional experience. To assist we’ve developed three tools which many organizations have found helpful.

An RFP Scorecard

Our scorecards allows you to ‘normalize’ the assessment process by scoring potential providers in key weighted categories.
