Donald M. George, CFP®, is a Portfolio Manager in Glenmede’s Philadelphia office. In this role, he is responsible for providing investment advice, asset allocation and ongoing portfolio management for Glenmede clients. Mr. George partners with advisory, tax and wealth planning colleagues to understand client goals, provide tailored guidance and ensure clients’ wealth management objectives are fulfilled. Additionally, Mr. George is a member of the Company’s Investment Policy Committee, which is responsible for setting asset allocation and investment strategy for Private Wealth client portfolios.

Prior to joining Glenmede, Mr. George served as the CIO at Van Leeuwen & Company, LLC in Princeton, NJ, where he was responsible for managing discretionary client portfolios and served as the firm’s primary client facing investment subject matter expert. He led the development and implementation of the firm’s investment process and strategy in addition to overseeing daily investment operations and research efforts. 

Mr. George received his Bachelor of Arts degree in communication with a concentration in journalism from Rider University and has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. He is also a Level 1 candidate of the CFA program. Additionally, he is a member of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council.
