Glenmede Hires Matthew Beardwood as Business Development Manager of Wilmington
Former Valley Forge Asset Management Executive Brings More Than 15 Years of Investment Industry and Leadership Experience

Glenmede, a privately-held and independent investment and wealth management firm, today announced that it has hired industry veteran Matthew C. Beardwood as a Business Development Manager in the Wilmington office.

Mr. Beardwood joins Glenmede with more than 15 years of financial service and investment industry experience. In his role at Glenmede, he will be responsible for developing new and existing relationships with endowment, foundation and tax-exempt entities and high-net-worth individuals and families.
Previously, Mr. Beardwood served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Sales with Valley Forge Asset Management, a division of Susquehanna Wealth Management. As an active member of the Wilmington Community, he currently serves as Director of the Rotary Club of Wilmington and serves on the board of numerous other community organizations. Mr. Beardwood will work out of Glenmede’s Wilmington office.
