Gordon B. Fowler Jr. - President and Chief Executive Officer, Chief Investment Officer
Gordon B. Fowler Jr., is President and Chief Investment Officer of of Glenmede.
Prior to becoming President in 2010, Mr. Fowler served as Glenmede’s Chief Investment Officer, a position he has held since joining the Company in 2003. In this role, he has been responsible for the investment strategy and process, portfolio fund managers, and the trading and investment research group. Along with Glenmede’s Director of Investment Strategy, he continues to have oversight of these responsibilities.
With a background in both U.S. and global investment management, he has extensive experience with quantitative equity investing, asset allocation and tax-aware research and investment management. Mr. Fowler joined Glenmede following a more than twenty-year career with J.P. Morgan. From 1994 to the time of his departure, he was Head of U.S. Investment Management for J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, and subsequently assumed responsibility for global investment management. Previously, from 1981 to 1994, Mr. Fowler worked for J.P. Morgan Investment Management. During this time, he developed the firm’s first quantitative products, including a long/short strategy, enhanced indexing product and tax-aware investing strategies; he also managed the firm’s quantitative equity group.
He has co-authored numerous articles on investing for private clients and institutions, including “Tax-Aware Equity Investing,” a pioneering study on managing money for taxable individuals, in The Journal of Portfolio Management; “Is Tax-Loss Harvesting Worth It? Greater After-Tax Returns through Active Selection” in The Journal of Financial Planning; and “Holistic Optimization of Goals, Simultaneously Solving for an Optimal Asset Allocation Given the Multiple Goals and Multiple Locations of Private Clients” in The Journal of Wealth Management.
Mr. Fowler received a B.A. from Brown University in 1981 and a M.S. from New York University Graduate School of Business in 1985. He is a board member of White Williams Scholars in Philadelphia, and a member of the working group for the Church Pension Group.

Laura A. Williamson - Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Laura A. Williamson is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Glenmede. She is a member of the Company's management committee and is responsible for financial management, human resources, and office administration. In this role, Ms. Williamson's chief responsibilities include strategic planning and forecasting, monitoring and reporting of financial results and trends, capital management, and oversight of compensation policy and administration. Prior to joining Glenmede in 1993, Ms. Williamson was a senior auditor with Ernst & Young, LLP.
Ms. Williamson earned a B.S. in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Bucknell University in 1989 and a M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2002. She attained the certified public accountant designation in 1990 and remains actively licensed today.
A resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Miss Williamson serves on the board of Philadelphia Futures, is an active committee member with The Pennsylvania Ballet, is an alumni advisor to the Management and Accounting faculty of Bucknell University, and has served with Business Volunteers for the Arts.

Howard E.N. Wilson - Executive Vice President and Director of Client Services
Howard E.N. (Chip) Wilson is executive vice president and director of client services for Glenmede. Mr. Wilson is responsible for all client facing activities of the firm including portfolio management, trust administration, wealth advisory, marketing and business development. In addition, Mr. Wilson provides leadership for the offices outside of Philadelphia.
Mr. Wilson came to Glenmede after eighteen years at U.S. Trust, where he served as regional president for the Palm Beach, Florida area, and most recently as managing director of the New York Wealth Management Division. Prior to his position in New York, he was President and Chief Executive officer of U.S. Trust’s Mid-Atlantic Region, headquartered in Philadelphia.
Mr. Wilson earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Maryland and a M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola College. He is a board member of the Philadelphia Mural Arts Advocates and a member of the campaign cabinet for the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Mr. Wilson is also a member of the Trust Management Association of the American Bankers Association.
